The Greater Hamilton/Halton Junior Golf Tour Association (Wilson Tour) and the Niagara District Junior Golf Association (Niagara Tour) faced off in the 1st annual Golden Horseshoe Cup. This Ryder Cup style match play competition took place on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton. The top 6 juniors, top 2 juveniles, top 2 bantams and top 2 females, faced off in match play competition.
Results: Halton/Halton - 29 points & Niagara - 7 points
Congratulations to team Hamilton/Halton for a winning effort! Thank you to Kings Forest for hosting this event and to the Niagara Tour for a great day of golf. We even had some four legged spectators as you can see from the pictures below.
